Getting off to a Fast Start on Facebook

When you first join Kleeneze, and want to start selling on Facebook, there are some best practices to follow, to help you get off to a Fast Start…

1) Make sure your profile picture is a friendly picture of you.

People buy from people, and at the beginning, if they don’t know you, they will often take a quick look at your Facebook profile to see if you look trustworthy.
You may love your dog, or Star Wars, or Manchester United, but if your customer can’t see who they are buying from, they will often decide not to.

2) Consider what you post on your own timeline.

Again, when customers are deciding if they are going to buy from you or not, they will often check your profile.
If your timeline is full of you moaning, swearing, getting angry, then the customer may decide they do not wish to buy from you. Be cheerful, positive, and helpful and customers will want to buy from you again and again.

3) You should now be the admin of your own Selling Group. So here is what to do now…

a) Change the name of the group to something you like.

b) Add the pictures that I have sent to you.

c) Add a post to welcome your friends, use a nice WELCOME photo, and the text “Hi all. Thank you so much for having a look at my new business. I will be adding new products every day. Could I ask you all a HUGE favour and add some of your friends to this group to help me make this a great successful group.

d) Add your BEST friends and family to the group (the ones you would invite to your wedding), and then send them each a PM something like “Hi Sue, I just wanted to welcome you to my new group ‘Chris’s online shop’. I hope you like some of the stuff I have on there. I really want it to be a success. If I can help with anything at all, please let me know. Chris

e) Over the next few days, as you add more products, and get some activity in the group, add the rest of your UK and Ireland friends.

f) Then if any of your friends add their friends, post a big THANK YOU picture, with the text “A big thank you to Susan Smith (tag them) who has added some friends to my group.
